HOD Desk's

The Department of Basic science has got a proud place of eminence in the glorious history of our institution. At the 35years ago, it was with this first step that our institution started the long journey in its quest for moulding generations of technical excellence. The Department was started with 120 students and a faculty of 2 each in the department of English, Maths, Physics and chemistry. At the age of 36, the department now boasts with 420 students and a faculty of 8 in each department. It gives us immense pleasure and satisfaction when we look back and assess our past.
The tutor wards system and sincere coaching, individual attention for the student by our faculty has produced good results this year. We could produce a 85% overall results and 90% in individual subjects. Students were motivated to participate in technical symposiums, NSS ,YRC, RRC club, sports , fine arts club activities, etc. The Parent Teachers Association (PTA) meeting helps to analyze the progress of the students. The students are encouraged to develop their technical skill by the additional courses conducted by the continuing education centre. Additional coaching for the students before the examination help them to win laurel. This signifies that achievements were made possible only by the dedication and perseverance of our efficient faculty members. Naturally, while basking in this glory, we realize our onerous responsibilities. The winning saga continues and at this glorious moment, we rededicate ourselves in the pursuit of excellence in technical education
